Visiting the website
When you access the website, the server automatically records technical data: IP address, date and time, the page requested, the referring page and the browser and operating system used. We need this data to deliver the website securely and to detect faults and misuse (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)). It is kept only as long as necessary for these purposes.
The website runs on servers of Hetzner Online GmbH in Nuremberg, Germany. Images and videos are stored with Cloudflare, Inc. (USA) and delivered via its network (media.webtree.ch); your IP address is transmitted to Cloudflare for this purpose.
Enquiries
If you send us an enquiry through the form, by email or via WhatsApp, we process the details you provide: name, email address, optionally your phone number, the event or package you are interested in, your preferences (occasion, group size, date, budget) and your message. We use them to answer your enquiry and to prepare an offer (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)).
Form enquiries are stored in the content management system of this website (Hetzner, Germany) and sent to us and to you as a confirmation by email via Resend, Inc. (USA). If you contact us via WhatsApp, WhatsApp (Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd.) also processes your data under its own privacy policy.
To source and arrange your experience, we pass the data required for the booking to the organisers, hospitality and travel providers involved — only once you have asked us to do so.
Cookies and local storage
Necessary for the website to work, and therefore set without consent: your language (cookie NEXT_LOCALE), your display currency (cookie sportara-currency) and your cookie choice (local storage sportara-consent).
Cookies for statistics and marketing are only set once you have agreed in the cookie banner (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)). You can change or withdraw your choice at any time via "Cookie settings" in the footer.
We use Google Consent Mode. Without your consent, Google receives only cookieless signals (for example that a page was viewed), without cookies and without identifiers that recognise you. Google uses them to estimate visits and conversions in aggregate (our legitimate interest in measuring the reach of our website, GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)).
Google Analytics (with your consent)
With your consent we use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the website is used — for example which pages are visited and whether an enquiry is sent. Provider: Google Ireland Limited, Ireland, and Google LLC, USA. Google Analytics does not store complete IP addresses. Cookies such as _ga are used for up to two years.
Google Ads (with your consent)
With your consent we use Google Ads conversion tracking and remarketing to measure which of our advertisements lead to an enquiry and to show you relevant advertising. Provider: Google Ireland Limited and Google LLC. Cookies such as _gcl_au are used. If you are logged in to a Google account, Google may link this information to it.
Links to Instagram and WhatsApp
The website only links to our profiles; no plugins are embedded. Data is only transmitted to these services once you follow a link.
Service providers and transfers abroad
We use the following providers, who process data on our behalf: Hetzner Online GmbH (hosting, Germany), Cloudflare, Inc. (images and videos, USA), Resend, Inc. (email delivery, USA), Google (cookies only with your consent) and Webtree Solutions GmbH, Schaffhausen (technical support of the website).
Where data is transferred to the USA, this is done on the basis of the EU-US and Swiss-US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.
Retention
We keep personal data only as long as necessary for the purpose. Enquiries that do not lead to a booking are deleted after two years at the latest. Business records relating to bookings are kept for ten years as required by Swiss law.
